Demain’s Volunteers #1
Published 27 November 2018The first edition of Demain’s Volunteers, the Club PRO social circus project, was a big success! The three voluntary artists, the trapezists Wise Fools, have joined Zip Zap circus school in Cape Town for one month in October.
They are enthusiastic for taking part to this experience at Zip Zap « Seeing Zip Zap and all it’s programmes was very inspiring in the sense that we saw how circus can affect the lives of children and young people who don’t always come from easy circumstances. Circus has really changed the lives of some people who for example came from the street and ended up working in Zip Zap.»

Jaimee, Valpuri, Maria and Laurence Esteve, Zip Zap’s director, will present the results of the project in a conference at the Club PRO, during the 40th Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain. Join the Club PRO to attend the conference and to enjoy many other benefits.
During the 40th Festival, we will launch a new fundraising in order to ensure the Demain’s Volunteers second edition.
The objective is to allow highly skilled former artists of the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain to discover what social circus is, and to enable people from unstable community situation to be in touch with them and to be inspired by their technical and artistic skills. For us this is a way to actively contribute to the development of the connections between the professional and the social circus.
